Rugby Weekly Update
Last week we just had the girls touch on Friday night at the Valley. They really enjoyed themselves but didn’t manage any wins. Above is a picture of them, with the coaches. If anyone thinks it is easy they should have seen Gunny and Ivan running out of steam and getting skinned by some of the girls from the other teams.
This week there is training as usual at the Police Club on Wednesday and then the girls are again in action, assisted by Gunny, Ivan, Pun Pun and Fat Jai at the Valley on Friday night. There are two matches, starting at about 8pm. On Sunday we have both the U16s and U19s in action:
2.15pm KO U16s v FK/TSW II at Tin Siu Wai Community Rugby Pitch (The Union pitch)
4.15pm KO U19s v Kowloon Lions at Tai Hang Tung
A chance for those on either HK Island, Kowloon or the NT to catch some Breakthrough rugby this week. I hope some of you can make it.
Looking a little further ahead we are planning to hold our Christmas party on 21 December and if anyone has any raffle prices they can donate, please let me know.
