Breakthrough Basketball Event
On Saturday May 28th, Breakthrough Basketball arranged a tournament with our long time partners, Adidas (HK) Ltd and the Police Basketball Club at Leung Tin Sports Centre, Tuen Mun. Both Adidas (HK) Ltd and the Police Basketball Club have worked closely with Operation Breakthrough Basketball since its beginnings in Tuen Mun in 2005.
In an action-packed event that saw the Police Basketball Club eventual winners, all teams put in credible performances and afterwards various awards were made to deserving players and all competitors received useful souvenirs, kindly provided by Adidas (HK) Ltd.
In a short address to the Breakthrough team, Breakthrough Director David Grant recognized the efforts of all competitors, thanked the Police Basketball team, the Police volunteers and Adidas (HK) Ltd,who were represented by Ms Anne Tsui, Director of HR and Admin, Adidas (HK) Ltd.and reminded all present of the need to respect the volunteers and helpers, respect the opposition and above all, respect themselves.
Afterwards refreshments were provided.
