Hong Kong Marine x Police Sailing Club x Operation Breakthrough coastal cleanup

On 24th June and 17th July, Operation Breakthrough, together with Hong Kong Marine and Police Sailing Club, took prompt actions to clean up beaches in Pak Shui Wun, Campsite Bay in Sai Kung as well as Shek Pai Wan in Lamma Island.

All volunteers rolled up their sleeves and got down to work. Huge amount of plastic waste eg. polystyrene boxes, plastic straws..etc were collected during the clean up.

This activity not only make the volunteers realise the importance of reduce/reuse/recycle but also the importance of protecting the living habitats of the aquatic lives.
