On April 28, Operation Breakthrough demonstrated its commitment to youth resilience and physical excellence today at the PAC Adventure Challenge 2026.
Led by Director Mr. YIP Man-kuen, a dedicated team including two of our Breakthrough youth participants completed a demanding multi-stage course designed to test both physical endurance and collaborative spirit.
The Challenge
The event commenced at the Tai Po District Junior Police Call Club House, where participants embarked on an 11km orienteering course through the Sheung Shui district. Following the trek, the team transitioned to the Police Tactical Unit (PTU) headquarters to face a series of rigorous tactical challenges. These included:
Rope Ladder Climbing: Testing strength and composure.
Cooperative Ball Passing: Emphasizing precise communication.
Agility Run Challenges: Demanding speed and focus under fatigue.
Leadership and Mentorship
Throughout the day, the team was bolstered by the presence of Operation Breakthrough Chairman, Mr. David Jordan. His attendance at the venue provided a significant morale boost, underscoring the organization's hands-on approach to mentorship and the support network available to our participants.
A Commitment to Growth
The PAC Adventure Challenge is more than a race; it is a platform for young people to showcase their vitality and coordination. By overcoming these obstacles, our participants demonstrated the perseverance and teamwork that are the hallmarks of the Operation Breakthrough program.
We congratulate the team on their successful completion of the challenge and their exemplary performance.
